How to use a peptide
scalp serum.
A copper-peptide scalp serum is a leave-on. It's designed to sit on the scalp between washes, not on the lengths of the hair. Here's a simple nightly routine that keeps it in contact with the scalp for as long as possible.
01
Start on a clean, towel-dried scalp
The serum works best on a scalp that's been washed and towel-dried — damp, not dripping. Wash with a peptide shampoo and follow with a peptide conditioner so the scalp is comfortable before the leave-on step.
02
Section and apply directly to the scalp
Part the hair into 3–4 sections. Use the dropper or nozzle to place a few drops along each part, directly onto the scalp — not the lengths. Around 6–10 drops in total is enough for most heads of hair.
03
Massage in for 60 seconds
Use fingertips to work the serum in with a slow, circular motion. The point is contact time and coverage — not pressure.
04
Leave on. Do not rinse.
Style as usual in the morning. The serum is designed for daily leave-on use; a 30 mL bottle used nightly aligns with a two-month refill cycle.
A few notes
- — Consistency matters more than dose. Twice the serum, half as often, is not the same routine.
- — The serum layers cleanly under most stylers. Apply the serum first, then any styling product.
- — Patch test on the inner forearm before first use if you have sensitive skin.
